Jefferson L. Triplett is a general practice trial attorney with the law firm of Triplett & Triplett, L.C., in Elkins, West Virginia. He is a 2001 graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law.
He is a 1988 graduate of Elkins High School, a 1992 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science, and a 1999 graduate of the Robert H. Smith School of Business, where he earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Jeff served on active duty in the U.S. Navy from 1992 to 1998; since that time, he has served as a member of the Naval Reserve force and currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He was mobilized post 9/11 for a year with the Office of Naval Intelligence.
Jeff was an associate with Saul Ewing LLP, in Baltimore, Maryland, where he specialized in corporate bankruptcy and commercial litigation.
He returned to Elkins in 2004 to join his father, George R. Triplett, who has been a practicing trial attorney since 1962, to provide legal services in a wide array of areas, including federal and state criminal defense, civil, domestic, and commercial litigation, real estate and corporate law, and estates and wills.
Jeff is active in local youth sports and directs an annual football kicking camp.
Jeff is married to the former Silvia Boyero from Salamanca, Spain. They have three children – George Andrew (4), Sofia Frances (2), and Alexandra Lee, born on August 24, 2004.
