Professor of exercise science and coordinator of the basic activity program at The George Washington University, Washington, D.C. She is actively involved in the National Association for Girls and Women in Sport, and the National Association for Sport and Physical Education. She served on the National Task Force on Coaching Education that recently produced the publication, National Standards for Athletic Coaches and is the past president of the National Council for Accreditation of Coaching Education.
